THE TAKING THE MIC COLLECTIVE

In association with..... We are a collective of like minded musicians and music fans who are attempting to revitalise the Music Scene around the Surrey Hants border area. Our aim is to bring the music back to the people through Open Mic Nights, Gigs and Festivals. Sadly through pub closures and a lack of willing the music scene in this area is becoming increasingly strangled (with respect to the venues that are still doing a good job of course) and local bands are having to go further and further afield to get a gig. Our whole mission is based on bringing live music back to this area for bands and audiences (and us!) to enjoy.

JOIN THE COLLECTIVE

For a one off fee of £5.00 you can join the taking the mic collective.

This entitles you to discounted gig and festival tickets for the rest of your life.

We are a not for profit organisation so all money is invested back into buying new equipment and spreading the word about the collective so we can bring more music to more people. Any surplus at the end of the year will be donated to the Youth Music charity .
